Congratulations to the Juan de Fuca U14 Boys, U15 Boys and U16 Girls Gold teams for advancing to the BCSA B Cup Lower Island Finals this Saturday.  The U14 boys will host Cordova Bay at 12:30 at City Centre Park while the U15 boys will play an away game at Lakehill and the U16 girls travel to the Cowichan Valley for their match.

Winners will advance to an Island championship with the island winner securing a berth in the Provincial tournament.

Well done teams.....we are very proud of your accomplishment!

Welcome to our new JdF Soccer Website!

Our gratitude goes out to member Rob Phillips for the design and implementation of our new look.  As stated below, we encourage you to take a moment and create a members account. This will enable us to e-mail you upcoming news items and information you may otherwise miss.

Our first poll question was "what would you like to see on this website" and the early response was for more pictures. We had local photographer Shane Power travel around the West Shore and take dozens of game action photos that change with each page refresh so the site is in constant change. Very cool!!

More pictures are forthcoming, so if you see Shane and his camera, don't forget to smile!

As always, we welcome your comments and suggestions.

Last week, the Juan de Fuca Soccer Association lost a great friend and member with the passing of James Onischuk.

"Big Jim" coached and refereed soccer over the past 25 years and was always a true gentleman on the pitch.

JdF Executive has decided to honour Jim with a scholarship in his name, to be awarded in June of each year to one of our top young referee's.

Qualifications and details are pending so please watch this site for updated information. Jim, your contribution to our club will not be forgotten.

Now that we are now gaining access to the new Artificial Turf field at Eagle Ridge.  Which is adjacent to the Eagle Ridge Dry Floor Arena in City Center Park, on the Langford Parkway.  The access to this new facility will be distributed as equitably as possible amongst all teams.
