Getting Started - The JdF Soccer Online Registration system for2017/18 season is open.

  • Your child must be registered to attend any of the JDF soccer assessments.
  • The registration software allows for secure Credit Card or E-Check payment through Paypal.
  • Registration must include 50% deposit on fees (those waiting for Financial Assistant programs will be the exception) before a player will be assigned to a team.
  • In some divisions the club does fill up and players can get waitlisted. Please make sure you register early.
  • For new players, a "Proof of Age" document must be on file with JDF. If this is your first time registered with us you must include a photocopy of one of the following documents with your registration: Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate, Passport, Citizenship card/papers, Immigration papers, Status Indian card, or Sworn affidavit. Proof of Age can be mailed to Juan de Fuca Soccer Association PO Box 28073 Westshore Town Centre PO Victoria, BC  V9B 6K8. 

Age Categories and Fees

Family Discount

Families (2 or more in Youth program) will be given a 5% discount. Full price for the 1st child, 5% off fees for each additional child. You must register as a family by using the add a child button on the registration form to receive the family discount.

Payment Fee structure - NEW

When paying your fees online you can choose to pay with our new pay structure. It will require an immediate payment of 50% of your fees, 75% before August 31 and full fee payment before September 30. This structure should help our families begin registration and payments in order to secure their child(s) spot on a team and take advantage of the early bird fees. Those who's fees have not been paid or initiated will be waitlisted.

If you choose to pay with the instalment plan you will receive email reminders about upcoming payments - this will only be a reminder, not an automatic payment, you will still need to process the payment. Please choose your payment type carefully (cheque or credit/paypal) as we will not be able to accommodate payment form change requests.

DIVISIONS AND FEES - New information

U4 Timbits

  • Open to ages 3 years, children born 2014
  • Registration Fees - $135
  • The Timbits group is sponsored by Tim Horton’s and each child will receive a t-shirt that they can keep at the end of the season.

U5 and U6 Timbits

  • Open to ages 4 - 5 years, children born 2012 & 2013
  • Registration Fees - $185
  • The Timbits group is sponsored by Tim Horton’s and each child will receive a t-shirt that they can keep at the end of the season.

WHAT DO YOUR SOCCER REGISTRATION FEES COVER:

  • Almost seven months of soccer (September to March)
  • Payments to BC Soccer Association and Lower Island Soccer Association
    • $37 per player for U10 and under
    • Group sports insurance
  • Uniforms
  • Equipment – practice and game balls, cones, flags, nets, pinnies, medical kits
  • Photographs (team photo)
  • Technical Directors for Timbits and Youth programs
  • Wind up jamboree
  • Coaching certification, training and Criminal Record Checks
  • Field Rentals: Other associations have field space donated by their municipality for little or no cost. At JDF, we pay almost $200,000 annually for field and washroom rentals.   This works out to approximately $130 per player.

Did you know that Royal Bay Turf Field lights cost $100,000 and were paid for by JDF Soccer. This was done so that the turf field could be used by our teams for games and practices due to shortage of field time at other locations.

LATE FEES - New information 

If registration fees are not paid in Full by September 30, 2017 a $50 late fee will be added to that registration. Grant families and families on agreed upon payment plans will not be charged the late fee.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

When you register your child enter in the comments section that you are applying for financial assistance. Players that are applying for assistance through Kidsport, Sport AssistAthletics for kids or Jumpstart require confirmation from the organization that the application has been received before the player is assigned to a team, you don't have to receive your assistance before your child will be placed.

REFUND POLICY - New information 

If a player must de-register, a refund request form must be completed and sent to the Registrar by mail to:

Requests received by September 1, 2016 will receive a full refund, less fees paid to the governing bodies and $25 administration fee.  Requests received up until October 31th will receive 50% refund less fees paid on behalf of player and $25 administration fee.  After Oct 31, 2016 no refunds are given unless a medical note is received. Refunds will not be processed until after October 15, 2016.
